Treehouse luxury
Chewton Glen is a luxury hotel and spa in a country estate in the New Forest in Hampshire. But what's really special is that they have built opulent treehouses high up in the trees in the 130 acre grounds. Expensive, no doubt, but definitely unique.

Active holidays in Snowdonia
In the centre of the Snowdonia National Park the area around Blaenau Ffestiniog has established itself as one of the finest centres for active and adventure holidays in the UK. As well as walking, mountain biking and horse riding there are a number of specialist attractions at the slate mines: demonstrations and tours, zip wires, underground train tours and our favourite, Bounce Below, a giant bouncy castle in the caverns.

Glamping in the Jungle?
That's "The Jungle" in Northern Ireland, of course. This family adventure centre boasts a huge range of activities, from llama trekking to Segway rides through the forest. Accommodation includes glamping pods, each of which sleeps up to eight people. The centre is roughly halfway between Derry and Belfast and even has Easter Egg hunts on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday of the bank holiday weekend.

A forbidden land?
How about entering the Forbidden Corner? This is a unique labyrinth of tunnels, chambers, follies and surprises created within a four acre garden in the heart of Tupgill Park in the Yorkshire Dales.

Magical Hobbit house
Inspired by the hobbit houses from J.R.R. Tolkien's famous tale 'The Hobbit', this incredible accommodation sleeps up to six at North Shire, a farm on the beautiful North York Moors. As well as camping and caravan sites, accommodation options include gypsy bow-top wagons, the shepherd's hut and Story Book Cottage, perfect for children.
