From a £40,000 bill covering the costs of treating a traveller in Indonesia who was bitten by a mosquito and contracted Dengue fever, to a whopping £300,000 bill covering the treatment of multiple injuries following a fall from a waterfall in Thailand.
Scarier still!
What is more terrifying is that the Association of British Insurers (ABI), have revealed that an estimated one in five travellers will go abroad without any travel insurance at all!
